A bus air-conditioner that malfunctioned in Victoria this morning caused moments of panic as people in the street thought the vehicle was on fire.
The fault led to steam coming out of the vehicle, which was empty at the time. The driver of the bus stopped the vehicle and rushed out, while members of the Civil Protection Department and police officers went on site.
The incident reminded many of the times when, two summers ago, there were a number of fires on buses.
