Abuukar Ahmed Qadar, 27, of Somalia was today jailed for a month after he pleaded guilty to giving a false name in a passport renewal application. The name he used is Abdisalam Mohamed Elmi.
Legal aid Martin Fenech appeared for the accused. Magistrate Audrey Demicoli presided over the case.
Immigration Police Inspector Mario Haber prosecuted.
