The Environmental Health Directorate said today that after the necessary cleaning of the oil spill along Triq il-Qajjenza in Birzebbuġa, the bay with site code A10 is once again re-opened for bathing. 

Following the oil spillage in the bay earlier this week, tests that were made on samples of sea water collected from the bay along Triq il-Qajjenza have resulted that there are no residual impacts from this oil spill.

In the following hours staff from this Directorate will be removing the signs affixed in the past days.
