Earlier this month, Daniel Young and Essa Pace woke up to a wonderful unforgettable surprise and spent a day with their dearest friends and loved ones enjoying precious moments together. Daniel and Essa were two of the 3 winners of the NESCAFÉ Wake Up Surprise competition, which has now reached its third and final stage and the organisers are evaluating the nominations for the next and last surprise.

Daniel Young was nominated by his twin brother Anthony, offering him a relaxing day with his future wife, friends and family on a luxurious sailing boat. Anthony wanted to offer this surprise to his twin brother, as Daniel means a lot to him; so before he started his new chapter in life  with his future wife,  Anthony thought that it was the ideal time to send him off with a bang. 

Essa's story is even more touching. She was nominated by the son of TV personality Nirvana, who succumbed to her illness two years ago. Since then, Essa who is Sam's godmother and was Nirvana's best friend, has taken Sam under her wing being there for him and treating him like her own son. As a thank you, Sam nominated her for a NESCAFÉ Wake Up Surprise. The surprise kicked off at the Embassy Cinema, where Essa was lead into a cinema theatre and watched pictures with both her and Sam, during some of their most memorable moments together.  A short touching message by Sam ensued, along with instructions to move to the next destination and second part of the surprise. Essa was taken to the Corinthia Hotel St George's Bay, where she and Sam spent some valuable relaxing time together.

To enter  the competition, all one has to do is to visit the NESCAFÉ Wake Up Surprise website  www.wakeupsurprise.com.mt, record a nominating video explaining why the nominee deserves to win, publish the video on Facebook and tag the  nominee, who must have a Facebook account.
