Language school, shops evacuated after Sliema restaurant catches fire

Students of Inlingua School of Languages were evacuated after the restaurant situated beneath it caught fire this afternoon.
A police spokesperson said the fire, in Sqaq Guze Fava, also led to the evacuation of the Plaza shopping centre as fire alarms went off.
The restaurant was closed at the time of the fire and no one was injured in the incident.
