All of Ghadira Bay is now fit for swimming after the drainage issues which had hit part of the bay have now been resolved, the Environmental Health Directorate said in a statement.

The area near Dawret it-Tunnara, commonly known as Tas-Sorijiet, had been declared unfit because of a drainage overflow a few days ago. Water samples taken over the past days determine that the bay is now clean for swimming.

The dog friendly beach at Bahar ic-Caghaq however is still unfit for swimming because of a drainage overflow, the directorate said.
