Last night, Police Drug squad personnel carried out inspections in several places of entertainment.

Investigations led to the arrest of three men, aged between 15 and 19 years. They were found in possession of substances suspected to be cocaine and cannabis resin.

Further investigations also led the Police to the arrest of a 29-year-old man, residing in Birzebbugia, after he was found in possession of what is suspected to be ecstasy and cocaine, under conditions denoting that the substances were not for his own personal use. The man is expected to be arraigned in Court in the coming days.
