Horses were saved but two dogs and 30 chickens were killed in a fire that developed in a farm at Naxxar on Tuesday evening.
No one was injured in tha accident in Telgha tal-Ghatba Street, Naxxar at about 7.30pm. The farm belongs to a 57-year-old who lives there.
A spokesman for the Civil Protection Department said a room full of haystacks at a farm caught fire.
Five fire engines from five CPD units were on site to combat the blaze.
