The results achieved and the projects implemented by the government in the sector of elderly persons are evident and many families are benefitting from these results, the government said in a statement.

“The waiting list for elderly persons to stay at a State home has reduced by 12.8% and the list of those elderly persons waiting to be examined has gone down by 61.5%,” the statement read. The waiting lists have been accumulating for some 20 years, the government continued.

This is all a result of good decisions taken by this government. Even in the sector of the elderly, the Opposition is negative, the statement read.
