Man from Birzebbuga charged with trafficking cocaine and relapsing, denies charges

A 24-year-old man today denied aggravated possession of cocaine and cocaine trafficking.

Terence Micallef, 24, from Birzebbuga was charged with the possession of nine grams of cocaine found under circumstances denoting it was not for his own personal use.

He was also charged with trafficking the cocaine and relapsing.

Magistrate Antonio Micallef Trigona granted the man bail against a deposit of €1,000 and a personal guarantee of €4,000.

Inspector Gabriel Micallef prosecuted and lawyer Edward Gatt appeared for the accused.
