Perhaps the clearest proof - if any is needed - that Simon Busuttil and his motley crew have embarked on a campaign to try and discredit each and every initiative, law, investment etcetera made under this government's watch, is their latest attack on MCAST.
Camouflaging their attack in the form of questions in Parliament made by George Pullicino, who certainly cannot, by any stretch of the imagination, be considered an authority on education, the PN Opposition has cast a shadow not only on the administration of MCAST but also on the academics who lecture there, as well as the certificates of students who have completed or will complete their studies at this educational institution which should make us all proud of its very high standard.
I heard a PN spokesman One Radio denying that the PN had cast any doubts on MCAST, its academics and students. "All George Pullicino did was to ask questions." He further claimed that the PN had full trust in the abilities of the administration and lecturers to take this institution to a higher level, which begs the question: Why did George Pullicino ask those loaded questions in Parliament?
