Parliamentary Secretary for the EU Presidency 2017 and EU Funds Ian Borg has today paid a visit to the Milan EXPO. This was a follow-up to the visit made by Secretary of State for European Affairs of Italy Sandro Gozi in Malta last July. 

Amongst other stands, Dr Borg has visited the stands of Malta, Italy and the EU. The Malta Pavilion forms part of the Bio-Mediterraneum Cluster and was inspired by a bee hive and the production of honey. Malta’s participation at EXPO Milano 2015 is being coordinated by Malta Enterprise.

Participants in the EXPO include 145 countries, three international organizations, several civil society organizations, several corporations and non-governmental organizations. All participants are hosted individual or grouped pavilions.

This universal exhibition will run until 31 October.
