As of September 15th, Microsoft's Country Manager for Cyprus & Malta, Adrianna Zammit, joins the senior executive leadership team within Microsoft CEE Multicountry region; a hub managing 24 country in Central Eastern Europe.
During the last months of Microsoft's fiscal year, Adrianna Zammit has been acting as General Manager of Microsoft Multicountry. During this time, Ms Zammit has been appointed as CMO/COO, Marketing and Operations Lead, within the Microsoft Multicountry Leadership team. Her role will consist of business operations, strategy and marketing management for the 24 countries.
Microsoft will appoint Mr George Petrakides as Manager of Microsoft Malta and Cyprus and Mr Panayiotis Ioannou and Country Manager for Malta.
Adrianna joined Microsoft in December 2010 as Country Manager for Malta. Under her leadership, the Maltese team became a trusted advisor and reliable partner for local customers and the Government. She successfully built a strong and effective team and continuously achieved and exceeded business targets. Adrianna is a Circle of Excellence Gold Club 2011 and Platinum Club 2013 Award Winner. In 2013 she was assigned Country Manager for Cyprus in addition to Malta and was awarded the Central and Eastern Europe Chairman's Award during MGX 2013.
Before joining Microsoft, Adrianna worked in a similar role in sales management for Texas Instruments (HKI) in San Diego, California/USA. She also conducted research for NASA in addition to taking an active role in her community through various outreach and community service events.
