Waterpolo champions San Giljan Crystal Finance have paid a courtesy visit to Prime Minister Joseph Muscat at his office in Castille.

San Giljan were crowned champions for the ninth time in their history, the first time since 1995, with a two-point advantage over neighbours Neptunes.

The San Giljan delegation was led by president Dr Daniel Aquilina.

During their visit, captain Matthew Zammit presented a memento to Dr Muscat, a club T-shirt signed by all the players.
