A man is in critical condition after he was hit by a steel structure that he was dismantling together with other workers at the Cottonera Sports Complex early this morning, the police said.
The accident happened at around 2.45am.
The Qrendi man, aged 32, was taken to Mater Dei Hospital where he was found to be in critical condition.
Magistrate Francesco Depasquale ordered an inquiry.
