At this perhaps relatively late juncture of the Maltese language debate, I thought it worthwhile to bring to your readers’ notice the existence of the best critique I have come across of the Council’s infamous ‘Decizjonijiet 1’ directive.

The author of the work is Anton F. Attard of Rabat, Gozo. It is a private publication entitled precisely “Decizjonijiet 1 tal-Kunsill Nazzjonali ta’ l-Ilsien Malti: Kemm huma tajbin? 2010” and presumably procurable directly from the author or else by contacting the printing house A. & M. Printing, Qala, Gozo.

After reading through this eye opener in detail, all those negatively affected by the Council’s tactics should join in and raise their voices in a learned manner and keep on opposing the Council until matters are remedied satisfactorily for the benefit of our indigenous Maltese tongue.
