May I ask ‘independent’ MP Marlene Farrugia, who often mentions the word “transparency” in her anti-government diatribes, if she had ever informed voters in the electoral district from where she was elected to parliament, in the literature she sent them during the electoral campaign, that she would consider resigning from the PL as well as the PL parliamentary group, if she ever found herself in serious disagreement with any government legislation or decisions?
If she had not done so, then Marlene Farrugia is now in Parliament representing only herself, and perhaps a handful of voters who may have given her first preference on the ballot sheet, but then continued to vote PN, AD or other independent candidates.
