Iraqi troops back in the game

Sunday, 3 January 2016, 08:14 Last update: about 10 years ago

Since ISIS went on an epic land-grabbing spree last year, it never lost a battle. One of their important acquisitions was Ramadi, a key city in Iraq just 60 miles away from Baghdad. However, last Sunday Iraqi troops celebrated their first big win over these monsters from ISIS by pushing them out of Ramadi with the help of the US-led coalition.

Finally, this is indeed good news in the fight against this terrorist organisation known by the ridiculous name of ISIS. A big round of applause goes to the Iraqi troops who showed the world that they are back in the game again.
