In his letter entitled The proliferation of cribs (TMIS 20/12/15), Mr Guillaumier found pleasure in demeaning the status of the crib as an irrelevant myth and also expressed his disdain at seeing their mushrooming appearance everywhere. His efforts to spoil the fun and eradicate the joyful peaceful spirit from believers' hearts during this festive season failed pathetically, because the birth of Christ is - and will forever remain - the best news of great joy ever.
In the enforced absence of correspondence challenging his vociferous unholy crusade, he has lately enunciated all sorts of imaginative cardinal sins "behind the Holy Doors". Pope Francis is resolute in banishing any wrongdoing and will soon be successful.
The Christians' point of view is, of course, diametrically opposed to his opinion about Holy Years.
"Jesus is the door of salvation - a door open to everyone", said Pope Francis. "Pass this Holy Door to re-discover the infinite mercy of the Father who welcomes everyone," Pope Francis again.
The Protestant Reformation is still there for all to see - a mighty legion of 800 million. And yet - there is a very cordial dialogue going on with the Catholic Church and they are progressively in agreement with 80 per cent of their respective creeds.
God willing, the breach in the wall of separation will soon be over.
