Only one nomination for the casual election to elect a councillor in the Local Council of Ta' Xbiex following the demise of councillor Anthony Cachia Castelletti (March 2013, PN), has been received.

The Electoral Commissioners notify that up to the deadline allowed for submission of nominations, the nomination received was that of Richard Chetcuti.

The counting of ballot papers shall be held at noon on Wednesday, 3rd February, 2016, at the Electoral Office, Evans Building, Merchants Street, Valletta.
