On Saturday, 20th February Thermoplastics (situated in Marsa) celebrated its twentieth anniversary operating in Malta. Since its conception, this ever growing company, provides a daily 24 hour service. Recently, Thermoplastics started to operate from Tunisia with a good number of sixty three employees working in both countries.
Thermoplastics starting point was in 1996. The company manufactures a wide range of supreme quality plastic products such as toys, car parts, engineering works and carbon fibre products and much more.
A memorable ceremony was held in one of Malta's luxury hotel in which Finance Minister Profs. Edward Scicluna attended to commemorate this anniversary. Appraisal was made for the evolution of Thermoplastics proved by the increasing number of machinery. It was reported that there is a promising future for this company to be more competitive.
The Managerial Director of Thermoplastics, Kenneth Caruana, stated that he is satisfied that his company evolved along the years. "Turn obstacles into challenges. Focus on your achievement, be persistent and love your work. I encourage employees to build a strong sense of teamwork and to be loyal to the company they work for".
Besides the fact that Thermoplastics operates under ISO 9001, it also operates under ISO 14001: 2004. This means that the company has always had the environmental well-being at heart along its operational years. Thermoplastics adopts environment friendly measures by preserving the remaining plastic pieces to crush them for investment purposes.
