MISSIO Malta is part of the Pontifical Mission Societies that have the common aim of assisting the Holy Father, in spreading missionary awareness among priests, religious, adults and children; encouraging aid to the poor, and gathering financial support for different projects in third world countries.

For this purpose, a festival Hope# Missio Fest is being held on Saturday, 19 March 2016.  This will be a day full of activities, entertainment and also collection of financial support through the special telephone lines for the day.  Hope# Missio Fest will be screened live on mainly all local television stations.

The principal aim and purpose of Hope# Missio Fest is to promote awareness of, and raise funds for, the worldwide missionary and pastoral work of the Church.

Hope# Missio Fest will run from noon till midnight, and will be located at PAMA grounds, Mosta. During the day, this festival will be screened live on mainly all local television stations.  Thus, televiewers and all attending families will be able to reach MISSIO work in detail, and also get to know where their donations will be put.

For the kids, there will be a special kids area including jumping castle, storytelling, face painting, crafts and much more.  Also activities from Mosta Nursery and Ghajnsielem Nursery.

During these activities, and on the same day, there will be special telephone lines ready to receive the public financial support.
