SR Technics General Manager Jutta Trimmel wanted to produce a film for the SR Technics Employees to showcase their work and skill sets in the maintenance of the aviation industry. HandsOn Malta School of Filmmakers partnered up to produce this film,  and offering at the same time its students hands on experience in filming live action, as well as understanding commercial work.

"This year, we wanted to praise and give exposure to our Maltese employees   for all of their work and commitment," says Mrs Jutta Trimmel, General Manager at SR Technics Malta. "Our employees work under tight deadlines - never falling short from imperative responsibilities - most impressively supported by a solid foundation of teamwork and communication," continues Mrs Trimmel.

For this matter, wanting to expand their filmmaking skillsets in producing a commercial promo, HandsOn Malta Film Students, captured the maintenance teams working like precision clockwork, dismantling, maintaining and assembling the two passenger planes simultaneously.

"It was great opportunity and experience for the students to work around the maintenance crew, in the SR Technics Hangar at Hal Safi Aviation Park but it was mainly their realisation of the opportunities that filmmaking gives you, in seeing and understanding other industries" says Elton Grech, Director of Studies at HandsOn Malta, School of Filmmakers.
