The Nationalist Party has expressed their support for a law passed yesterday which recognises Maltese sign language as an official language of Malta.

In a press release issued this evening, the Opposition said that it has pushed for a number of amendments to strengthen the original bill. After contributing at every state in Parliament, the Opposition voted in favour of the final draft of the bill.
