As part of the celebrations to mark its 125th anniversary this year, St Julian's Parish is organising a Holy Week Concert entitled 'The Passion of Christ in Words & Music' by the Amadeus Chamber Choir under the direction of Mro Brian Cefai in collaboration with The Tarxien Pageant Group who will also be offering scenes from the Lord's Passion throughout the concert. The Tarxien Pageant Group is renowned for its excellent productions depicting the Holy Week events. This year it will be stepping outside its normal venue and present the scenes from the Passion of Christ with a cast of over 45 people in costume and will be held at St Julian's Parish Church. These scenes will be accompanied by the Chorus of the Amadeus Chamber Choir and a ten piece orchestra.

The event will be held on Tuesday 22 March at 7.30pm at the Parish Church. Entrance to the concert is free. All are welcome to attend. A donation in aid of Dar tal-Providenza will be collected at the end of the concert.
