Monday, 21 March 2016, 13:19 Last update: about 9 years ago

On 26 February, to mark the occasion of the hotel's 10-year anniversary since opening, Le Meridien St Julian's Hotel & Spa presented its first art exhibition for this year. Over 300 invited guests and art lovers attended the brand new collection of Claude Camilleri. Sparkling drinks underlined the extraordinary modern art presented by the hotel and their curator.

"The anticipation and hype for the International Art Collective III was amazing and the opening night was truly energetic. Several larger than life installations, video art, sculptures, photography, art on canvas combined with live music and vintage fashion made up this collective. The response has been fantastic and we continue to be inspired and motivated to do more," said Mr Camilleri, curator of the boutique-led, award-winning property.

"We are proud to have reached such a wonderful milestone in the history of the hotel and thrilled to kick off our 10th anniversary celebrations with this intriguing art exhibition. Culture and the arts play an important role within the hotel where the brand is all about the creative, open-minded and curious traveller. 2016 will see a diverse calendar of activities to celebrate the past 10 years," stated Alex Incorvaja, general manager of Le Meridien St Julian's.

What will become an annual calendar of the International Art Collective series, will this year consist of two international art collectives and two duo exhibitions. Artists from overseas and local artists will contribute a diverse palette of mediums, including Art on Canvas, Sculptures, Installations and Video art.
