The cynical tactics of Labour

Sunday, 3 April 2016, 09:01 Last update: about 10 years ago

What a complicated world we live in: tough, messy, dishonest and cruel – with so much hardship and so many tragedies. In today’s world, almost every Parliamentarian, Minister or whatever works for his or her own advancement.

Unfortunately, politicians across the globe are all the same. First and foremost, they work for themselves and care nothing about the real interests of the citizen. Indeed, this last couple of weeks the Labour media machine has done its utmost to divert attention from Panamagate by vilifying certain political adversaries in the PN. Really and truly, does the Prime Minister of Malta approve of the scandalous financial dealings and investments of a Minister in his Cabinet in secretive tax havens such as Panama? The sad thing is that there are no allies in this world to whom we can turn to help us resolve this serious issue – or if there are, they are unreliable.

Our little island has now revealed how insane and far removed from the reality of good governance our leaders are! However, they are not alone in this Panamagate scandal. We’ve seen other mediocre performances and examples of bad practice by some of the most important presidents and prime ministers in the world.

As a vivid example, we can take the vulgar President of North Korea. His complex web of intrigue and deceit is there for all to see. He likes to play with fire and quite often threatens the world with his numerous weapons of mass destruction. Indeed, this mad dog can change the flow of world events in a matter of seconds by hoisting his missiles for all the citizens of the world to see! He expresses disdain for the United States of America. He hates his neighbours and is critical of most of his fellow world-leaders. He is very, very impatient with the South Koreans and absolutely fed up with Chinese interference. His only friend in the world seems to be Vladimir Putin, who he praises for demolishing the rebels fighting to oust dictator Assad and for showing great political skills when facing other world leaders. But it’s the fear from President Barack Obama that distorts his vision and judgment, and thus he seeks to place the threat of missiles even more hastily.

I don’t think there is one civilised human being who approves of the vulgarities being perpetrated by these two disturbed dogs – the North Korean President and the Syrian dictator Assad. And while we are mentioning these two uncivilised monsters, it’s very striking how many Americans have responded so quickly to Donald Trump’s call in the campaign for US president! Trump is another corrupt entrepreneur – a bad version of the North Korean doggy type leader and Hafez El Assad.
