To commemorate the 125th anniversary of the arrival of the statue of Mary Star of the Sea at the Stella Maris Parish Church in Sliema, the parish community together with the Stella Maris Philharmonic Band will be presenting the Oratorio "Marija Kewkba tal-Baħar" at the Stella Maris Parish Church on Friday the 7th of May coming at 7.30pm. 

The Oratorio "Marija Kewkba tal-Baħar" has lyrics by Prof Oliver Friggieri and music composed by Mro Michael Pulis, resident conductor of the Stella Maris Philharmonic Band.

Mro Michael Pulis will conduct the Stella Maris Philharmonic Band; also taking part in the Oratorio will be soprano Karen Camilleri, tenor Joseph Aquilina, baritone Alfred Camilleri and the Coro Bel Canto directed by Mro Hermann Frantz.
