Former Labour Party Prime Minister Alfred Sant said that it will be “very difficult” to stop the wave of controversy surrounding the Panama Papers from a political point of view.
“Morally, there is little to no justification for doing so,” he writes today on his blog (click here).
Dr Sant, who is serving as MEP, does not mention Konrad Mizzi and Keith Schembri in his article, but says that the Panama Papers scandal “is again placing financial services under strict scrutiny, at a time when they are already under a cloud.”
