A court today issued a warrant for the arrest of national football team goalkeeper Justin Haber after the latter failed to show up for his scheduled court sitting.
Mr Haber, 34, who currently plays for Hibernians, was due to appear at a Valletta district sitting for allegedly insulting a local warden. However he failed to show up in court. Mr Haber will be escorted by police officers for the next sitting on 13 June.
Magistrate Joe Mifsud also slapped the goalkeeper with a €250 fine for contempt of court.
