The sea-water level rose in Msida this morning, covering this low-lying area and causing some traffic disruption.
Drivers experienced the same flooding issues as those that happen when it rains heavily.
This time, however, it was sea-water that covered the roads - with possibly worse consequences in terms of damages to cars because of the salt content.
