The US Embassy and the newly established Malta American Football Association organized a morning of American football games on Sunday, May 8 at the Melita Football Ground, Pembroke.  U.S. Embassy staffers joined members of the Malta American Football Association and the Aloysians Tigers in an event to promote American football in Malta.  Teams played each other in friendly matches of American flag football.  The U.S. Embassy awarded a grant of over $1000 to the Association to support the purchase of equipment, including gears, flags and belts.
