Maltco, Malta's much-loved national lottery brand, has visited the Blood Bank at the National Blood Transfusion Centre in a bid to help save lives. Directors, Managers and employees from various departments within the company donated their blood.   Maltco staff has been consistent supporters of the Blood Bank over the years.

Maltco are aware that a large number of patients, including children, depend on the continued generosity of others who are healthy and the company pointed out that blood transfusions may be the difference between life and death. The Blood Bank constantly needs more donors and volunteers to come forward to ensure Malta's hospitals have the supply of blood they need.

Maltco Lotteries CEO Vasileios Kasiotakis said: "The most precious thing in this world is the gift of life and it is deeply rewarding to see that our employees and agents also understand the importance of donating blood and participate so wholeheartedly whenever we organise a blood donation activity.
