The Prime Minister’s wife, Michelle Muscat, will be attempting another long swim to raise money for the Marigold Foundation, the NGO she presides.

Mrs Muscat last year had crossed the channel between Gozo and Malta.

This year, she will swim from the south of Malta, according to the Labour Party’s news website. The place she will leave from is unspecified, but her arrival will be in Grand Harbour.

The attempt will be made on 25 June.
