The second edition of the Dictionary of Maltese Biographies is due to be published shortly.

Like the first edition, it will include a biography of Maltese people of all eras and will also list all significant publications of the person which a researcher can consult. In the case of authors, artists, musicians and so on, the book will also include a complete list of their works.

The editors of this new edition are asking all those who in any way have contributed to our islands, to submit their full details about their qualifications and achievements to ensure the complete reliability of the volumes.

All those who have already been included are requested to submit their corrections or updates. Any other information about individuals who can be included would also be appreciated.

This new edition should prove to be an indispensable work of reference both locally and abroad for years to come.
