Notte Bianca, Arts Council Malta and the Valletta 2018 Foundation are proud and excited to announce the participation of Paris-based visual and audio artists Nonotak Studio as part of this year’s festival. The renowned duo will be contributing their unique light and sound creations to the project Design4DCity, which is an experiment in engaging with city spaces in new and innovative ways.
“This year there has been a conscious effort to introduce more new and digital media events to the Notte Bianca programme. That is why we are honoured that Nonotak Studio, who are at the forefront of the digital arts scene, have accepted our invitation to be part of this national cultural event”, explained Sean Buhagiar, Artistic Director of Notte Bianca Valletta. “Nonotak Studio have created work for some of the world’s greatest institutions and urban spaces, and we are excited to see how the duo’s work will make use of and enhance Valletta’s unique architectural aesthetic. It is our hope that Nonotak’s work will not only be a source of great wonder for Notte Bianca visitors, but will also be an immense positive influence on local artists wishing to pursue careers in the exciting, innovative world of digital media.”
