MITA constantly works on new initiatives to reach IT students and collaborate with them along their studies. For this reason, another sponsorship agreement was signed yesterday between MITA and Kunsill Studenti MCAST. 

Before signing this one year agreement, MITA's Executive Chairman, Tony Sultana encouraged MCAST students' representatives to think out of the box and come up with innovative ideas how to support students. He explained that there will be times when they make mistakes, but these will help them learn for the following experience.  

Regarding students who are studying ICT and related courses, MITA's Executive Chairman reiterated the agency's open door policy in helping IT students to achieve a career in Information Technology. He explained that MITA can provide a solid training, along with practical experience in the industry through its Student Placement Programme. 

Mr Sultana also encouraged IT students who have an innovative idea and that can be fruitful to the government to step forward and discuss it with MITA. He said that MITA might be interested in sponsoring these students to fulfil their idea.
