There are no longer any patients being treated in the corridors of Mater Dei Hospital according to Health Minister Chris Fearne.
This is stark improvement from the 2,009 patients which were treated in the hospital's corridors in 2015, and the 2,500 in 2014.
This gradual decrease dates back to 2012 were 8,118 patients were being cared for in the corridors.
This statement came following a parliamentary question which was put forward by Labour MP Luciano Busuttil.
