MAPFRE Middlesea has donated €15,000 to this year's President's Solidarity Fun Run, in aid of Malta Community Chest Fund.
A number of the company's employees and their relatives participated in the Fun Run on Sunday 6th November. CEO and President of the Company Felipe Navarro and his family also took part.
The company also had a stand at St George's Square, where employees distributed freebies to participants finishing the walk/run.
Over 16,000 people participated in this year's Fun Run and over €200,000 were collected in aid of MFCC. The Malta Community Chest Fund Foundation provides financial, material and professional support to people experiencing difficulties because of severe chronic illness, such as cancer.
MAPFRE Middlesea has been supporting MFCC for the past ten years.
Through its Corporate Social Responsibility Programme, MAPFRE Middlesea helps within the community by donating funds to various entities and by encouraging its employees to participate in various activities with different NGOs.
