On Sunday 13 November, Simon Busuttil appealed to Maltese and Gozitan voters to do what American voters did when voting for Donald Trump.

When saying this, Simon Busuttil has confirmed how politically naive he is. Donald Trump won the election because he won more members of the Electoral College than Hillary Clinton. The Leader of the Opposition failed to inform his listeners that Hillary Clinton is expected to have won around two million more votes throughout all the States (California votes are still being counted as I write) than Donald Trump. While in our electoral system it is not the number of seats a party wins which matter, but the majority of votes! So if in the USA they had a similar system, which is much more democratic, Hillary Clinton would have won the Presidency and not Donald Trump!

Dr Busuttil keeps confirming that he is just trying to convince those with the lowest IQ since he must have lost all hope of convincing serious minded and intelligent voters.
