To talk about prehistory is as presumptuous as foretelling the future. To believe in something is one thing, to prove it is another. How can anyone presume to know what went on in prehistoric times without indulging in make-believe? Can we mere mortals know what really occurred 10,000 or 100,000 or maybe one million years ago in prehistory? This is the guessing game the palaeontologist and the anthropologists want us to believe by using evolution as a sort of a road map into the past.

The catechism of evolution was proposed and accepted as statements, as facts; words such as perhaps, probably, presumably, assumptions and more guesswork to be gospel truth. Deny it and one is branded an uninformed, uneducated religious nut.

For more than one hundred years since Charles Darwin published The Origin of Species, anthropologists have searched for the supposed “missing link” to man’s ancestry. That came about with the discovery of a skeleton in the Neander Valley in Germany and the unearthing of more bones and other evidence of the supposed ancient man that  have accumulated since then. Thus was born our ancestor –Neanderthal Man – or so said the evolutionists. What vehemence, what ardour, what fervour, what earnestness was shown by the scientific community to bury the men who still insisted that the Bible was the only reliable guide to the antiquity of man.

Now scientists have admitted through research that the DNA of humans and Neanderthals is practically identical. This goes to show that ‘cavemen’ are people too, like you and me. Science did not find any half-monkey half-human bones. The material analysed indicated that Neanderthals and humans interbred and produced offspring regularly. This scientific admission burnt a hole in the conventional evolutionary theory.

Whether internationally or not, the evolutionary theory is finding one too many setbacks and has to be modified again and again. Who has not heard of the Piltdown Man Hoax of 1912 which took 40 years to unravel? The Nebraska Man of 1922 – a single tooth dated one million years old later identified as a pig’s tooth. The Coelacanth, a fish classified extinct by experts was found roaming the seas in the southern hemisphere; Earnest Haeckel’s fraudulent drawings and the manipulation of embryos, the peppered moth, and the deceptive manipulation of evidence to influence by imperceptible means.

The blind faith of self-assertion describing the ascent of man gives the impression that the anthropologist was on the scene of a transitional period of thousands of years of development from the brutish ape-like creature to modern man as if projecting events in motion picture style.  Sheer arrogance!

Written history dates back to about 5000 years. History begins at Sumer as a fully-fledged civilization with architects, engineers, artists, craftsman, and a language written and spoken. There are many firsts in this civilisation.  Who can explain the gap, the emptiness of tens of thousands of years with no gradual progressive achievement to a sudden established society? The Bible can because there is no pre-history.

The scientific community insists evolution is the final and only explanation for the existence of life. But to be proved true as the laws of science dictate, the theory must be tested experimentally. How does one test or repeat that which occurred in the past?
