The jetty protruding in Marsaxlokk Bay with which the LNG tanker moors is still awaiting the necessary certification from the internationally certification authority Bureau Veritas, claims legal maritime expert and PN Executive Council President Ann Fenech. She accuses Electrogas’ representative of lying during the public consultation meeting held some weeks ago.

Interviewed by The Malta Independent’s Content Director, Pierre Portelli, for the INDEPTH series on www.independent.com.mt, Dr Fenech was asked to give the reasons why the PN continues to oppose the Electrogas power station and what the party would do with it should it win the next general election.

Dr Fenech revealed whether she believes the PN stands a chance to win the election and if the party has put its finances on sound footing to be able to organise a credible and strong campaign. She also revealed if big contractors are still donating money to the party.
