To Serve and Not to be Served -Matthew 20: 28

Sunday, 5 February 2017, 09:00 Last update: about 11 years ago

All or almost all  people in all walks of life wield power: a parent over children, a teacher over students, administration on employees, the police force, the armed forces , journalists, the judiciary, the government, the list goes on and on. We all wield a lot of power over other creatures and on the natural environment too.

Let us keep in mind the golden rule: To do to others what we wish done to ourselves. To serve fairness and justice primarily, and when this is not enough to be kind; to serve and not to be served. Otherwise, we will become corrupt and abuse our position, and do a lot of damage.
