Jobsplus employees were the latest group in a stream of third party employees to benefit from financial educational clinics organised by Bank of Valletta.

Over the past months, the Bank has organised several sessions for employees of corporate clients at their place of work. Victoria Azzopardi from the Bank's EU and Institutional Affairs at Bank of Valletta explained that, "The world of banking is becoming increasingly more dynamic and complex, driven by digitalisation as well as the broadening spectrum of financial services offered." These sessions are tailored to the needs of the respective audience.

Participants in the latest session were given an overview of the consumer finance options, highlighting the different scenarios, security features and benefits linked to Bank cards, overdrafts, personal loans and home loans. Mark Vella, Executive Head Marketing at BOV Asset Management tackled the stockbroking aspect. He discussed the basic rules and practical tips for the investor. Pension funds constituted another topic of discussion with Noel Abela explaining how retirement planning can be considered as an alternative way of thinking for the future.

There is a healthy response by both employers as well as employees who voluntarily enrol for these session. Organisations interested in coordinating educational sessions for their employees may contact Bank of Valletta on 2275 1160.
