The Leader of the Opposition’s hysterical statements continue to prove his political contradictions. His main target now is the Police Commissioner, Laurence Cutajar, the reason being that Mr Cutajar does not obey immediately whatever is said by Simon Busuttil or anyone else of his motley crew, when all they do is repeat gossip without providing any sort of proof.

At the same time that Simon Busuttil has been calling for the sacking of the Police Commissioner, he has also been asking him to investigate Minister Konrad Mizzi and Mr Keith Schembri. Is it not obvious that Simon Busuttil would not accept the report of any investigation unless that report confirms the accusations of corruption that he has been making and that have been proved to be false with the publication of the Audit reports prepared by the international audit company Crowe Horwath?

Will Simon Busuttil now also demand that the same Police Commissioner investigate the story published on the front page of KULLHADD on Sunday, 26 February – the same day he made a ferocious attack on Mr Cutajar – alleging the possibility of a “fraudulent application” submitted by one of Mr Busuttil’s own parliamentary group members, Toni Bezzina, backed by aerial pictures which can be considered as hard evidence?
