Allow me to refer to the news item entitled ‘MEP claims of potential money laundering are wrong – Konrad Mizzi’ (Times of Malta, 28 February) wherein, when asked about comments uttered by Pana Committee (European Parliament) chairman Werner Langen, Minister within the Office of the Prime Minister Konrad Mizzi said that his secret offshore Panama company had “nothing to do with potential money laundering”.

In view of the above, the Pana Committee can ask Konrad Mizzi the following question: if you were not going to make use of your secret Panama offshore company, why did you instruct Nexia BT to register it?
