In a week which was dominated by a video showing a Maltese man and a woman engaged in a sexual act – and which was shared on the social media – Labour MEP Miriam Dalli chose to dedicate her vlog on the bad side of the internet.

The MEP did not once mention the video, but continuously referred to cyber-bullying, revenge porn and wrongful use of the internet, all matters that were brought up over the past days ever since this now infamous video was made public.

Dr Dalli says that every effort should be made to address issues related to the wrongful use of the internet on a constant basis. She also makes reference to child pornography, a plague in our society on which more needs to be done.
