Godfrey Farrugia was given a hero’s welcome in his hometown Zebbug, in his first official activity as a Partit Demokratiku candidate for the upcoming election.
Dr Farrugia resigned from the Labour Party on Saturday and later submitted his nomination to represent the PD, which is in coalition with the PN.
Dr Farrugia is also to address the PN mass meeting.
