Not so, it seems, for the international financial services companies planning to move from the UK and set up shop in other EU countries after Brexit.
For this reason and many others, the national interest demands loyalty from the majority of the electorate on 3 June. The outcome should not be dissimilar to the 2003 EU referendum vote.
Just think if, despite the waste and plunder of the last four years, the economy performed so well, wouldn't the economy work wonders with good governance?
For Malta's sake, let's make the obvious choice on 3 June and clean up the mess once and for all. We owe it to ourselves, our children, our respectful friends both here and abroad and, most of all, to the basic value of doing what is just and proper.
