It is indeed interesting but disappointing and annoying why all English-language newspapers seem to have contrived, as if by common consent, to vaporise my letters.
But my blithe and undaunted spirit prompts me to rekindle my right to have my say in this most responsive and collaborative of all newspapers, as I wrote on 20 November 2016.
The above picture touched the hearts of all people of goodwill and possibly restored one’s faith in humanity. The persons concerned are a Jewish woman and a Muslim man, who despite their differences of faith attended the Manchester vigil after a suicide bomber committed his atrocity.
What impresses me even more is the Muslim memorising all 6,600 verses, 30 volumes and 114 chapters of the Koran and the Jewish woman observing the Sabbath, eating only kosher food and remembering the victims of the Holocaust every year.
But disappointment over not finding what is expected should not be permitted to obscure their great responsibility to elect to Parliament candidates who never vote against their conscience when serious ethic Catholic issues are at stake and who always pass legislation with religious wisdom.
May their faith in God guide them in all they think and do.
